Intention and purpose give power to our words
For centuries, authors, politicians, psychologists or mystics have studied and used the simple power of words to transform people’s lives. Do we realize that the words we choose and how we talk about ourselves and others have a direct influence on our lives?
Words are vehicles for our thoughts and are alive. They encapsulate part of our heart, mind and soul and have the ability to affect others’ people life as well as our own in unimaginable ways. Simple words can heal our minds and bodies, enrich our souls, move our hearts, influence our perceptions and behaviors, attract positive outcomes, manifest our dreams… They have the ability to change our world.
Words capture the vision of our intentions and the emotions of our purposes, for that reason when we have a clear vision of what we want and experience a strong sense of purpose, our personal energy is multiplied tenfold and vibrates through all our words and actions.
When this happens, we realize that we can redesign the intention and meaning behind words to communicate effectively with ourselves and others.
Then simple words take a new dimension, they become instruments of power to shape our lives. It’s no coincidence that prayers, mantras or affirmations play a significant role in people’s life; they represent a bridge between our inner-self and our reality.
When we redefine the personal meaning of words like Love, Peace or Joy and align them with our Intentions and purposes, then we can inevitably experience their plenitude in our lives.
We may choose to speak any words, or we can watch our words and use them with a purpose. It makes a big difference in our lives.
Today, take a moment to realize the power of words:
Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atom bombs. – Pearl Strachan
Words are alive. Cut them and they bleed. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world. -Buddha
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. -Proverbs 16:24
If you wouldn’t write it and sign it, don’t say it. -Earl Wilson
The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone? – Ecclesiastes 6:11
It is not whether your words or actions are tough or gentle; it is the spirit behind your actions and words that announces your inner state. -Chin-Ning Chu

Steve,
Inspiring post! “Words capture the vision of our intentions and the emotions of our purposes”
= excellent
Thanks
I agree. This post is remarkable. Our words is what is creating what we are experiencing. I am also understanding that vibration and energy behind the words is what is giving it the extra fuel as well. Love the quotes as well!
That was powerful! It is wonderfully true just how powerful our words are. I’m trying to find a way to accurately convey my thoughts but I think you did a much better job, “personal energy is multiplied tenfold and vibrates through all our words and actions.”
Hey Ben,
Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate your input. The more I experience the power of words in my own life the more I’m encouraged to carefully choose my language as the results are so amazing…
Baker,
Thanks my friend for your feedback, you know how I value your comments.
Francis,
I believe many people take their words for granted, when they realize the power behind them, they discover they have the responsability to co-create with life.
Steve,
I love the way you describe the power of words. Very thoughtful!
Thanks Robi for your lovely comment.
good post! so very true on the power of words…
~ words can hurt us or help us as we speak or write them… our words should be a true reflection of who we are and that is what gives them such power!

Hi Steve,
I like how you associated words to our intentions so completely. I think we do have to grasp that what we tell ourselves we tell others and our thoughts shape our universe. It is important that we understand that we can redefine the personal meaning of words, and change our overall outlook.

Sandra

Hi Steve
It is so good to be reminded about the power of our words. There is another proverb which says “as apples of gold in silver carvings, so is a word spoken at the right time for it.”
Many thanks.
I could not have said it better if only everyone would take the time about others feelings…
