Just Feel Great

Feel great about yourself one moment at a time

If I can dream…

by Steve

The way to achiving your dreams

A dream becomes a reality if it is fueled by the feelings generated by the anticipation of its achievement.

Yesterday, I stumbled on this video from Celine Dion duet with Elvis Presley. While I was amazed by the technological performance of this improbable duet, the lyrics of this song suddenly grabbed my attention and reminded me how fragile we are regarding our ability to believe in our dreams and use the beautiful and strong emotions, they procure to us.

Doubts or hopes, light and dark, joy and pain —All these mixed colors and feelings seem to assault our minds and souls as if life was testing the foundations of our dreams.

If you are subject to this continual battle deep inside of you, take courage; you received the divine ability to dream and author the pages of your life, whatever your questions, doubts or fears.

As this song says:

“…But as long as a man as the strength to dream, he can redeem his soul and fly…”

If you have the ability to dream you have the power to achieve your dreams. Yes, you can fly!

A dream, as improbable as it may seem, eventually becomes a reality if it is fueled by the strong and positive feelings generated by the anticipation of its achievement.

Don’t ask yourself “why can’t my dream come true?” however:

- Are my dreams big enough to raise my energy level?
- Is the vision of achieving my dreams procuring me strong and positive feelings?
- Do I visualize clearly the achievement of my dreams daily?
- Do my dreams give me a sense of purpose in life?
- Am I acting upon achieving my dreams every single moment?

If you can positively answer these questions with determination, then you can sing, write or ask with power:

“And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream, please let my dream
Come true……Right now”

And your dream will inevitably come true.

Thanks for the inspiring message Steve! I have a childhood fantasy that I am working through now. My days fluctuate between doubt, passion, fear, and pure excitement. Regardless of what I’m feeling, it’s all worth it!

Hey Steve,
Really like that quote, ” Are my dreams big enough to raise my energy level?” I think that question alone carries a lot of insight. I resonate very well with that question. Thank you for sharing this insight.

Francis & Baker,
Thanks for sharing, I appreciate.

@ Baker : I believe that dreaming big is the only way to move massive energy, live a life of purpose and overcome any obstacles. I think we should teach people how to design their dreams instead of setting objectives.

Hi, Steve, thanks a lot for this insightful and truthful post. I appreciate the guide questions you enumerated; if anyone would only sit down and think of even just one of them and answer it, I believe a big change could come to that person’s life.

I believe that having a dream in one’s life–and pursuing it–is already there when one is born into this world. We are given the skills and knowledge and wisdom and talent to achieve whatever it is that has been speaking deep within us, to reach for it and pour out ourselves into making it a reality. The only thing is, have we ever really stopped for a moment and think of what we really wanted to do in life and recognize that burning desire to do it, to pursue it and achieve it?

It’s so wonderfully great to merely exist, and how much more to have a dream and pursue it!

Hello Melisa,
Most people don’t know what they want in life. If they could only take a moment for themselves and define what they really dream of, they would dicover that behind every dream there is also an extraordinary source of energy available to manifest these dreams. When we follow our dreams, we are passionnate; we can walk up earlier in the morning because we’re on mission, we can work late at night because we choose to. This is the energy of passion. Yes it’s so wonderful to live one moment at a time when we follow our dreams!

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate
