What if you could be paid to exist?

by Steve

Live your passions and get paid for that

Seven years ago,I firmly decided to escape from the corporate world and finally follow my own path. It was a challenging decision, but I can only congratulate myself on taking this big leap because I feel free to be paid to do what like.

Along the path, I met Jonathan Mead a young coach and entrepreneur who helped me clarify my goals and enrich my personal success perspectives. Jonathan is now releasing his Trailblazer coaching program, and I wanted to share with you an authentic opportunity to:

  • discover or rediscover yourself and your passions
  • learn to turn your passions and knowledge into money
  • transform yourself-image by proving yourself that you can be paid to do what you love
  • transcend your limiting beliefs
  • experience authentic success

What is your best decision process?

by Steve

It's in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped - Anthony Robbins

I haven’t been writing on this blog for four months. What happened to me during all this time ?

Few months ago I took several decisions that led me to accept new challenging projects; at that time, I thought that I had all the logical reasons to accept these challenges however, I must admit I did not make my best decision ever. I took a path that did not give me satisfaction and was time consuming.

Commitment and Providence: a German affair

by Steve

When I was at school, I studied German. At this time, my homework involved reading and understanding German books and studying vocabulary. As I was struggling with the German language, the simple idea of reading famous authors was an abomination for me. This is how school goes, you have to…

One of these German authors was Johann Wolfgang von Goethe; this guy was a real encyclopedia, he wrote about science, music, philosophy and everything you can imagine. If my German teacher had told me that Goethe could teach me the secrets of success, I would have probably made the effort to overcome my German phobias. Today I want to share an enlightening quote from Goethe, that I just received by e-mail.

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.’

What is your passion in life?

by Steve

Five years ago I realized that I had resisted to live the life “I was born to live”. I was living a consensual life that was meaningful to society, my friends and family. Although I was successful, I was not happy. So I decided to quit my job and build a life that would be meaningful to me. I spent countless hours defining my passions and my “life plans”. I was struggling with the idea to be self-employed and my believes about financial security.

I do not regret my choice and never look back. Read more…

We are beautiful people

by Steve

self acceptance image

Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You - Dr. Seuss

Few days ago I joined a blog community on the Internet without expecting too much, as I’m not a social 2.0 freak.  I spent some time to read several blogs and people’profiles… Man what an experience!  I realized how much beauty, authenticity, emotions and colors were hidden behind these words, sentences and could only come to the conclusion that there are a lot of talents and beautiful people in this World.

These Ah-Ha moments are sensational as they make me realize that we all have talents, unique personalities, and perspectives.

This uniqueness is a gift. We may be struggling to see the truth while experiencing self-doubts and crisis in our lives, but when we realize the treasure behind our uniqueness and accept it, we can write our own story on a blank page and take responsibility for it. We are finally free to accept ourselves as we are and enjoy each moment of our life.

As we entertain this awareness, we develop tolerance for other ideas, perspectives and people, and we are able to enrich our experiences.

Yes we are a beautiful people!

Simplicity living: the secret to joyful living

by Steve

Simplicity living has the power to deliver peace of mind, pure awareness, joy and happiness for those who seek this effortless path. This is a path that requires no effort from you and its blessings are instantly deliverable to you, contrary to the “I want more” crowded highway that often delivers a sense of lack, stress and pain.

E. F. Schumacher summarized simplicity by saying, “Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius – and a lot of courage – to move in the opposite direction.”

Simplicity living (do not misunderstand with scarcity living) is basically the intention and the process of finding Joy and Happiness even in simple things (not only in simple things). It’s a way of life where you chose to enjoy each moment of the ride not only the destination.

By choosing to do so, you will discover, which are the activities, environments and people that bring you Joy and Happiness, and you will prioritize these in your life as much as possible.

We are all unique and have our own path in Life, that is why simple things have a different meaning for each of us. What counts, is our ability to consciously find Joy and Happiness in our daily activities.

Examples:

  • Enjoying each moment of the sunset at the beach
  • Smiling at people in the street on your way to the office
  • Listening to the silence at night
  • Enjoying a walk in the forrest, in mountain or on the beach
  • Cutting the grass
  • Shopping at the farm
  • Looking at your child’s smile
  • Exercising in the nature
  • Making dinner for your family, friends or colleagues
  • Saying “thank you”
  • Watching flowers
  • Playing with your pet

When you chose to find Joy in small things, you are, in fact, raising your awareness, and you start to see beauty in things that you did not see before. You will feel happier, more vibrant and finally attract more of these feelings in your life. And you will probably come to the conclusion that you do not necessarily need more…

How your emotions may contribute to manifest your desires

by Steve

Positive emotions contain the necessary energy to transform your desires into reality. When you feel good and experiment positive feelings you’re attracting like energy, circumstances and things in to your life.” You are a living magnet, attracting what you feel.”

Understanding that your emotions are the necessary fuel to manifest your thoughts and dreams, is critical to your ability to create the life you desire.

My friend Michel is a living example of these principles. I met him while I was searching real stories of people manifesting their dreams. Michel’s secret is very simple. He wrote down a phrase on a piece of card:

I am a very happy person because:
I’m healthy, I feel good in my body and have the energy to accomplish my dreams.
I’m wealthy, I always have a surplus of money
I love and feel loved

Below this very simple phrase, he wrote:

Peace, Love, Confidence

He explained to me that he focused his time trying to experiment these 3 feelings as they were summarizing all what he wanted from life. The more he experimented these feelings on a daily basis, the more he attracted circumstances, opportunities and things that made him feel peace, love and confidence.

He said to me that finally all he wanted from life was experimenting these feelings; wanting specific things was useless as life was giving him all that he wanted.

This is an extraordinary simple and powerful story because it demonstrates that behind every material or specific desire there is an emotion to be satisfied. When we focus our energy on desired emotions first, then we can get all the things we want.

You may have read the Secret, you may have bought dozen of books to learn how to manifest your desires, but as you can see attracting what you want in life may be as simple as experimenting the right feeling. There is no right or wrong way to do it.

Examine all the things you dream of, then ask yourself:
How would you feel if you had all these things?

You will discover that identical emotions are hiding behind many of your desires. When you finally identify these emotions, start cultivating them through your activities, thoughts, words, environment and relationships. That’s all.

Here is a list of positive emotions:

  • Joy
  • Love
  • Excitement
  • Abundance (of anything that causes a positive response)
  • Pride
  • Comfort
  • Confidence
  • Affection
  • Peace
  • Contribution
  • Gratitude
